Venturini

Azienda Agricola Venturini is located in San Floriano, a historic village within the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, at the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Founded in 1963, the estate has grown steadily through the dedication, experience, and hard work of three generations of the Venturini family, deeply rooted in one of Italy’s most renowned wine regions. The estate owns approximately twelve hectares of vineyards, set on gently rolling hills at an average altitude of around 250 meters above sea level. The vines are planted on south-west-facing terraces supported by traditional dry-stone walls known as marogne, a defining feature of the Valpolicella landscape. Vines are trained using simple and double pergola systems, ensuring balanced ripening and protection from excessive sun exposure. The soils are light, chalky, and rich in stones, providing excellent drainage and contributing to wines of elegance, structure, and natural freshness. These conditions create an ideal environment for the cultivation of Valpolicella’s traditional grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara. Venturini produces its wines exclusively from estate-grown grapes, allowing complete control over every stage of the production process. This careful approach results in authentic expressions of Valpolicella Classica, including Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Amarone, Recioto, and the Rosso IGT “Massimino,” each reflecting the character of the land and the family’s philosophy. The winery’s story is inseparable from that of the Venturini family. From grandfather Antonio to his son Massimino, and today to the third generation, the estate has remained a true family endeavor. Daniele oversees the winemaking process with precision and care, Mirco devotes himself passionately to vineyard management, and Giuseppina manages the business side of the winery. Wine at Venturini is more than a product—it is a living expression of daily life, past and present. It embodies the family’s deep respect for nature, their close connection to the rhythm of the seasons, and the memory of hands shaped by the land. Each bottle tells a story of dedication, tradition, and an enduring bond with Valpolicella.
