Varaldo
The Azienda Agricola Varaldo is a young family estate founded by Michele
Varaldo, an associate of the Cantina Cooperativa "Produttori del Barbaresco".
They are the third generation of wine growers in a tradition handed on from
father to son, and continue to produce wine with care and passion. The vineyards
grow on twelve acres of land and are under the supervision of Pier Mario
and his sons Rino and Michele Varaldo. The typical Langhe wines produced
are Barbaresco, Barbera d'Alba and Dolcetto d'Alba, and Langhe Freisa with
an annual production of 40,000 bottles. The low Guyot trellised cultivation's
system is used to create these fabulous wines. |
